Now that the warmer weather is fats approaching I have got a few tips for those seeking to get a tan and others like myself who enjoy spending time outdoors. The first tip I found is to try to stay out of the sun during peak exposure hours which are from 10 am to about 3 pm. Also, experts reccommend covering up with hats, sunglasses, and long sleeve shirts if possible. As far as sunblock SPF 45 is the best choice especially if one is very white and burns easil;y like myself. Sun block should also be applied numerous times throughout the day and espcially applied to the hard to reach areas like one's back, ears, neck, and espcially face. Laying out in the sun for the prupose of getting a tan is alos frowned upon by experts and supposedly a surefire way to catch a mean burn. Experts recommend that if one wants to get a tan then the best way to do it is sensibly and gradually so as not to crisp oneself the first time out. As we all know sunburns can lead to skin cancer, melanoma, heat and sun stroke, not to mention that a flakey and peely tan is just not a good look for anyone. So if you're going to be outside a lot this summer please use precautions folks, be safe and most of all have fun!

  1. Thanks for the info!! .. It can be very dangerous to sit out in the sun without any protection on because of the risk of skin cancer or sun burn. I always use sunscreen because I also have a very light skin complexion.

  2. Great information. I had no idea that there was a peak time for the sun to harm you. This risk of harming your skin is high now a days because i know not everyone uses sunscreen. I know i never uses sunscreen but now i know when i should wear a hat or not.
